A Lesson In Making is a process book showcasing a semester's work in typography. I wanted to take on the book as a new project, rather than a simple container for my existing work. To create a piece that was more than just the sum of its parts, I began using my existing projects as source material, cutting them up and collaging them into the book to accompany delicately typeset explanations. It was a great experience in utilizing grids, composition and white space in a book environment.
